FURTHER ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Collected oral history on behalf of John Muir Trust on the island of Skye through the medium of the Gaelic language in the summer of 1995; did further fieldwork through the medium of Gaelic all over the Scottish Gàidhealtachd.
Was interviewed for BBC Radio nan Gàidheal program (January 2002) about Scottish Gaelic literature and history in the United States, which also used extracts from book and album on this subject.
Researched and wrote the scripts for a 5-part series for BBC Radio nan Gàidheal about Gaelic tradition in Perthshire (February and March 2000).
Won Best New Gaelic Song of 1999 contest (with Richard Taylor on guitar).
Performed Gaelic song and dance with the Folklore Ensemble Drumalban at the RITE 1998 Festival in Saint-Girons, France.
